The Mallet Minder Story

 

Mallet Minders were designed by a bass drummer who needed an unbreakable mallet holder.  His drumline had five basses and nearly every mallet holder broke and rattled.  They were unreliable.  They often had to be replaced or fixed.  That made them costly.  The drummer knew there had to be a better way.

 

His design was conceived to be simple and strong.  A prototype was made and the drummer’s band director allowed the drumline to field test the Mallet Minders.  The bass drummers loved them!  They offered suggestions for improvements, which were implemented. 

The refined designs were installed. 

 

The band's bass line used them in parades, in football pre-game and half-time shows and playing in the stands.  Mallet Minders performed through the heat of August to the damp chill of late October.  Mallet Minders peformed in snowy outdoor Christmas concerts and rainy spring parades.  Simply put, Mallet Minders work.

 

The Mallet Minder design is more elegant than the other mallet holders.  Mallet Minders look good on your bass drum.
